The Pets Foundation provides funding to organisations:
- that aim to keep pets with their owners and out of rescue
- that help children and adults through the provision of specially trained assistance animals, or through the provision of structured animal assisted learning and therapy
- whose main activity is the rescue and rehoming of UK pets
