Funding Stream
- Providers of childcare/activities to children 0-5 years old.
- Providers of care/activities to children & young people 6 – 19 years old.
Who can apply?
Applicants must be either:
- A registered Charity.
- A Charitable Organisation.
- A Voluntary Organisation.
How much can we apply for?
Notional maximum grant of £1500 per application
What sort of projects or activities do they want to fund?
The foundation will accept applications from organisations working with children and young people who operate within West Yorkshire.
The Foundation will be looking to fund applications for:
- Equipment & resources.
- Activities to support the education and development of children & young people.
- Training and personal development of staff.
- Business support & Quality Assurance accreditation.
The Foundation WILL NOT Fund General running costs.
When is the deadline?
3 funding rounds a year
1st June – 30th August will be adjudicated during September.
1st October – 31st December will be adjudicated during January
1st February – 31st April will be adjudicated during May
How do we apply?
Application form can be downloaded from website and sent by either post or email.
Top Tips
- The application is fairly simple. If you have already created a Fact File you are already half way to completion.
- You will need to attach additional information including a copy of your constitution, most recent accounts, and safeguarding policy alongside your completed application form.
- They ask you for details about your project. Use the following prompts: Who, What, Where, When, Why.
- Tell them about the difference it will make to beneficiaries.
- Think about how you will know you have made a difference – what will change in the lives of beneficiaries?
