Trusthouse Charitable Foundation (Small grants)
Overview: Grants are available for small and medium sized local charities and not-for-profit organisations with a track record of success working to address local issues in communities of extreme urban deprivation or deprived rural areas.
Objectives:
Strengthen Local Communities: Empowering local people, building neighbourhood connections, and fostering inclusion.
Address Causes of Deprivation: Creating opportunities for disadvantaged individuals.
Support Small to Medium-Sized Charities: Focus on grassroots, community-based charities with frontline experience.
Grant Categories
Community Support (Small Grants):
Amount: £2,000 to £10,000 for one year.
Focus: Community services, centres, alternative education, training, youth clubs, detached youth work, counselling, family support, and substance misuse recovery.
Family Support (Major Grants):
Amount: £10,000 to £50,000 for one year or multi-year grants up to £100,000.
Focus: Early intervention, family hubs, parenting workshops, peri and postnatal mental health, family relationships, addiction support, and prisoners' families.
