We are a small team of volunteers who organise Berry Brow Carnival. We fund raise throughout the year to put on this annual community event.
The aim of the Berry Brow carnival is to bring members of the community together for a day of celebration, entertainment and lots and lots of fun.
The event showcases other local community groups and charitable organisations, it enables some informal learning, and promotes community cohesion, while also providing some quality time for people of all ages, helping to create some positive memories.
Volunteers are required to help with managing / supervising games and stalls, e.g. look after giant games, manage the pig racing game, the splat the rat, the coconut shy, the lucky dip, help with the traditional games, and more.
Volunteers would also be appreciated to help with the tea tent, stewarding and tidying up at the end of the day.
The event is on Saturday 5th July, and open to the public from 1.00pm -5.00pm. Volunteers helping with stalls and games would be required to join us by 12.30pm. If you can help in any other way, the team are on site from 9.00am, and there till finished tidying at the end, between 6.30pm - 7.00pm.
A volunteer briefing will be organised a week before the event, on site, at a time to be agreed.
