We’re looking for enthusiastic Conservation Cleaning Volunteers to join our friendly team at Oakwell Hall this summer. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to gain practical experience caring for historic interiors and objects while developing valuable skills for a career in heritage.

What you’ll be doing

With full training and support, you’ll help us look after the historic rooms and collections by:

  • Real-world experience in a museum and heritage environment
  • Insight into collections care and conservation practices
  • Training in safe object handling and cleaning techniques
  • A chance to contribute to preserving a local historic treasure
