Holme Valley Lions have been running for over 44 years.  We are a small group of community minded people that want to make a difference in the Holme Valley Community by raising money for vulnerable deprived groups and individuals. Our moto is "We Serve"

Holme Valley Lions carry out a range of fundraising activities in the Holme Valley which raise funds to support local charities and community groups such as the local Hospices and Food Banks.
We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers who can support with our events programme. 
This could include helping with our Santa Sleigh which goes out and about on an evening and weekends in the 4 weeks before Christmas. We are in need of Christmas Elves to interact with families as well as Volunteer Drivers with their own vehicle to pull the sleigh (we will cover your insurance).
We also have volunteers who accompanying the sleigh with fundraising buckets and help at shifts outside local supermarkets.
You can also get involved with Holme Valley Lions by becoming a member and attending our 2 hour meetings including planning future events (there is a Membership fee but you do not need to be a member to Volunteer with us)
