We are a counselling, training and resource centre, based in Milnsbridge. We offer counselling to anyone in need for a range of issues from bereavement to depression. We also provide training courses for anyone wanting to become a counsellor as well as hiring rooms and our sports hall to local groups. We also have a charity shop in the centre of Milnsbridge selling donated items at affordable prices. Our counselling service is BACP accredited and is very busy as counselling is an important tool in helping people cope with the stresses and strains of life and the impact of our ever changing society.
We are looking for a volunteer to help expand our fundraising and also look for sponsorships. The role will also include helping to organise fundraising activities, and sourcing ways to raise funds. The work is flexible and can be tailored to fit your availability. It will involve thinking outside the box for new fundraising ideas to bring in much needed extra funding for the charity.
