Waythrough is a national mental health charity that assists people with mental health issues to find employment, educational or training opportunities. The volunteering opportunities with us are largely based around helping to run workshops and groups for our clients and helping to create new workshops. We offer full training and induction for all volunteers, regular meetings to ensure that they are enjoying the volunteering experience and travel expenses are paid.
We are a mental health charity that supports people with mental health difficulties to get back into work, education, volunteering or training. We also run a wide range of workshops that are open to anyone in Kirklees to help maintain or improve peoples wellbeing and mental health. In these workshops we require Volunteer Mentors to help deliver the workshops, support the people attending and helping to create new workshops.
