West Yorkshire Police to create Independent Scrutiny and Advisory Group

An Independent Scrutiny and Advisory Group is being created West Yorkshire Police to tackle Race, Inequality, and the Legacy of Historical Injustices within Policing.

They are seeking members who can draw on a range of experiences to challenge, scrutinise, advise and collaborate to bring about the change communities of West Yorkshire want to see.

The group will be covering issues which both individuals and communities have raised with the Office of the Police and Crime commissioner. The PCC is keen to ensure people are aware of this new opportunity.

The first Independent Scrutiny and Advisory Group meeting will take place on Thursday 28th January 2021 at 6pm to 8pm.

The meeting will take place online via MS Teams. To register or for more information email: communityandyouthengagement@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.
