Will you be part of Local Democracy Week 2021?
KIRKLEES DEMOCRACY COMMISSION CALL OUT FOR ORGANISATIONS TO GET INVOLVED IN LOCAL DEMOCRACY WEEK 2021
Be part of Local Democracy Week 2021
Local Democracy Week is a way of helping people to get involved in their community, learn about democracy and have a voice in the decisions that really matter for our everyday lives. We’re looking for people and organisations who might want to get involved by organising an event or activity in your local place during October 2021. We’re also looking for stories to share.
Could you do something that will help people to learn more about, and be part of, local democracy? Do you have a story to share about something that you (or others) are already doing? Looking for some activity ideas? We’ve shared a few tips and ideas on our blog:
Will you be part of Local Democracy Week 2021?
Interested in taking part?
We can help by including you in our Local Democracy Week promotion. The week is from 11th to 17th October, but we’re looking for activities anytime in October that fit the theme – and you can share your story or try our activities at any time.
If you would like to be involved contact Democracy@Kirklees.gov.uk
