Your voice, your Holmfirth
During September and October Kirklees Council is asking residents, businesses, local organisations and visitors how you feel about Holmfirth town centre now, and what things you’d like to see in the future.
The Council is investing £1.5m in the Holmfirth centre as part of the small centres investment funding.
We would like to hear what is important to you and any ideas and suggestions you have for improvements to Holmfirth town centre.
The responses will shape the development of priorities and plans.
We would like to hear from both individuals (all ages) and local groups (all ages) who use or visit the town centre.
If you currently have an active community group and would like to give a group perspective please contact me to arrange a group discussion.
There are several ways to take part, in person or online, see www.YourVoiceHolmfirth.org.uk
If you would prefer to complete a printed copy of our questionnaire, please phone 01484 221000 (Kirklees Council) and ask for Julie McDowell, pick up a copy from Holmfirth Library, or request your copy via email: PlaceStandard@kirklees.gov.uk. We will also send you a freepost return envelope.
If you have access to a local noticeboard (in and around Holmfirth) we can supply you with a flyer to promote the engagement (available from Holmfirth Library). Please phone 01484 221000 (Kirklees Council) and ask for Julie McDowell, or email: julie.mcdowell@kirklees.gov.uk to request a copy of the flyer with drop-in sessions below.
