Thornton Family Fund
The Thornton Family Fund supports charities and constituted community groups working throughout the HD postcodes of Kirklees, for general charitable purposes.
What they will fund.
They can fund a wide range of items, including volunteer expenses, publicity costs, equipment, room hire, materials for activities, contributions to staffing costs etc.
The grants can be used to extend current activities or to introduce new ones.
You will have up to 12 months from your project start date to use your grant. Please note if you are applying for multi-year funding you will be required to complete an evaluation before the subsequent year’s fund can be released.
Funding areas: HD1, HD2, HD3, HD4, HD5, HD7, HD8, HD9 projects must take place in a HD postcode.
The fund offers grants up to £5,000. Support will also be considered from applicants seeking a multi-year grant award, for up to 3 years (£5,000 per year).
One Community makes grants to a wide range of organisations. The Foundation is particularly keen to help grassroots community groups, and small-to-medium-sized voluntary organisations, and priority will be given to these groups.
This fund closes on the 7th of January 2022 with a decision by the end of March 2022.
