Alleviating Hunger from Batley & Dewsbury

Indian Muslim Welfare Society is going to start their third major COVID-19 support programme since April 2020 called Alleviating Hunger from Batley & Dewsbury. 

This will offer fresh (where possible) nutritious food for those individuals & families who have suffered with income loss and long term illness & disability due to COVID-19 pandemic. They are aiming to deliver these food packages on the doorstep of those who have been hit hard by the pandemic. They will start delivering Food Parcels from November 2020 for 13 weeks.

The project commenced in October. They are gathering information and short listing the most deserving individuals/families entitled for our support).

The project also includes supporting women in the communities through IMWS women Committee by offering Free Feminine Hygiene Aid Packs 

APPLICATIONS (IN PERSON, EMAIL OR POST) TO TO BE SENT TO IMWS BY 23rd  OF OCTOBER FOR THE FIRST ROUND STARTING IN FIRST WEEK OF NOVEMBER 2020.
