The heritage toolbox: Capacity Building Programme for West Yorkshire Heritage VCFSEs
A new support programme is available to heritage organisations, including community and grass-roots groups from within the VCFSE sector based in West Yorkshire.
Funded by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority the programme aims to help build resilience and capacity through a toolbox of learning sessions on several key topics. The programme is being delivered in partnership by Heritage Network and Locality. Core subjects for the course include:
- Bid writing and fundraising
- Governance and leadership
- Engagement and partnership
- Volunteer development
- Equity, diversity and inclusion
- Sustainable practices and energy saving
Modules covering these topics will be delivered both in-person and online over the course of several months between March and September 2025. Further information including details on how to apply can be found here.
