Grant fund for Green Social Prescribing
Green Social Prescribing Grant Fund
West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership is looking to fund innovative projects which help connect people to nature, improve physical and mental health and reduce health inequalities. They are interested in projects that:
- enable people to access nature-based activities, for example, outdoor arts or education, conservation projects, walking groups, community food growing projects
- involve creating new greenspaces, for example, pocket parks, spaces to grow food
- are a combination of the two
Grants are open to voluntary, community and public sector organisations and are between £5,000 and £10,000. Applications opened on Tuesday 9 February and close on Tuesday 2 March.
