Health and Wellbeing Fund: One Community

| This fund will open April 1st and close May 14th 2021. Projects must start after July 1st 2021. Grants of between £3,000 and £10,000 per organisation are available.
The fund will prioritise applications that address one or more of the below-listed themes. However, they also welcome applications that address health inequalities not listed below.:
- Mental Health – For example, crisis services for those experiencing a mental health crisis. Advocacy support. LGBTIQ+ mental health support. Peer support bringing together people with shared experiences to support each other. Suicide prevention and interventions.
- Dementia –For example, services to help people living with dementia in Kirklees to achieve the best possible quality of life, as well as providing support and assistance to families and carers.
- Reducing social isolation and loneliness – For example, services or projects which help people of any age, race or gender who feel isolated or lonely to explore and rediscover their interests, meet new friends, build their confidence and start doing the things they like doing again. This includes projects which offer, face to face, telephone support services, digital support, or other means of communication.
- Homelessness – For example, services or project which offer support to those who are sleeping rough, sofa surfing or at risk of homelessness. Projects could include housing advice benefits advice for those who are at risk of homelessness or are homeless. Accommodation brokerage, including for those fleeing domestic abuse to find a safe home and settle in or access refuge support.
