Inclusive Volunteering Fund
Funding of up to £500 is available to help organisations make it easier for people with an additional need to volunteer
We are offering funding (up to £500 per project) to organisations to make adaptations to the way they advertise, recruit, train and/or support volunteers. This project aims to reduce the barriers and make it easier for people with an additional need to volunteer in Kirklees.
An additional need could include:
- Learning Disability
- Physical Disability / Sensory Impairment
- Mental Health Condition
- English as a Second Language (including asylum seekers, refugees and migrants)
Organisations should be able to clearly identify what change they will make and how many new volunteers they intend to welcome, including how they will target volunteers currently under-presented in their organisation.
