Are you or one of your voluntary sector colleagues relatively new to management of staff, volunteers, projects or all three? Or have been doing it for a while with no formal training?
VAC have a two-day Introduction to Management course open to all voluntary and community sector organisations in Kirklees.
- Day One: 14th February, 9:30am – 4pm
- Day Two: 15th February 9:30am – 4pm
You need to be able to commit to both days of the training.
Managing staff within the voluntary and community sector can be deeply rewarding but also hugely challenging. The course offers an opportunity to look at your personal learning and management style. Learn to build strategies for building resilience for yourself and your team. Learn to delegate, build trust and rapport with those you manage and become a more confident reliant and resourceful manager.
The course has been run previously with excellent feedback and I would encourage anyone new to a management role in the sector to book on to this fully subsidised training – there is no cost to organisations delivering in Kirklees.
