Ministry of Justice Crossover Programme
The Ministry of Justice is currently developing the Crossover Programme. The programme will test a new form of personal support for children leaving custody to improve their resettlement outcomes and reduce reoffending in the long term.
The £2.3m grant funding will be open for bids from voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations and successful applicants will employ ‘resettlement linkworkers’ with the aim of providing intensive one-to-one support to children, starting in custody, and continuing into the community.
The MoJ believe this is a great opportunity for VCS organisations to support and improve the youth justice system and are keen to hear potential delivery partners’ views about our plans and find out which types of organisations are interested in bidding for the funding.
A short online questionnaire has been included to help finalise the programme design.
You can find the questionnaire with additional information about the programme here: https://ministryofjusticecommercial.bravosolution.co.uk/go/14533350018195F55329
It would also be very helpful if you could share the link below with organisations who might be interested in bidding for the funding. The questionnaire will be open for 4 weeks and a Q&A event about the programme and the bidding process will follow later in the summer. The MoJ aim to start the bidding process in the autumn.
