Kirklees Youth Alliance is a new umbrella organisation for community groups providing positive activities for young people across Kirklees, West Yorkshire. KYA was created by a partnership of third sector organisations to develop a new model of youth provision that could plug the gaps left by a reduction in the council’s youth services. These organisations now sit on a steering committee and the alliance is run on a day to day basis by development manager, Susan Greenwood.
