Useful Covid19 restriction dates for third sector organisations claiming insurance or grants
Over the coming months, many third sector organisations in Kirklees will be in the process of claiming Business Interruption Insurance.
We recently received a request for a timeline detailing the Kirklees local restrictions to help with a claim. This information may also help with grant application.
23/03/2020 – The nation went into its 1st lockdown
June 2020 – Schools, shops etc were allowed to reopen. Pubs were still closed but were informed they could recommence in July
July 2020 – Everything was reopen at the beginning of the month however Kirklees entered ‘local lockdown’ at the end of the month
August 2020 – All Kirklees areas except Batley and Dewsbury were out of local lockdown restrictions
22/09/2020 – Whole of Kirklees entered ‘local lockdown’
October 2020 – Whole of West Yorkshire planned to enter Tier 3 restrictions however this was rescinded as a 2nd National Lockdown followed
04/11/2020 – 2nd national lockdown
December 2020 – National lockdown ended however West Yorkshire remained under Tier 3 restrictions.
January 2021 – 3rd National lockdown.
