TSL Kirklees Volunteering is the official Volunteer Centre for Kirklees
This means that we’re here to help you get started on your volunteering journey and support you through the process.
We also make sure that any groups or charities that advertise for volunteers on our website will look after their volunteers properly. Some of them will have a stamp of approval called the Kirklees Volunteering Quality Award (KVQA), which means that they’ve done even more to make sure that their volunteers are valued and have a good experience.

The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust runs a network of hospital services across three sites at Pinderfields, Dewsbury and Pontefract. Volunteer roles are currently available at Dewsbury Hospital.
Our cafés provide a service to the patients, staff, and visitors. This volunteering opportunity will enhance your experience in customer care and retail and provide you with an opportunity to make new friendships in a caring and supportive environment.
Please note, Mid Yorkshire Teaching Trust have recently changed their recruitment process for 16-17 year old volunteers. If you’re aged 16–17, we open applications twice a year, usually in April and October. While spaces are limited, every application is carefully reviewed. If you apply before the window opens, don’t worry — we’ll hold onto your application and make sure it’s included when we review everyone together.
