TSL Kirklees Volunteering is the official Volunteer Centre for Kirklees
This means that we’re here to help you get started on your volunteering journey and support you through the process.
We also make sure that any groups or charities that advertise for volunteers on our website will look after their volunteers properly. Some of them will have a stamp of approval called the Kirklees Volunteering Quality Award (KVQA), which means that they’ve done even more to make sure that their volunteers are valued and have a good experience.

We are a food bank in Cleckheaton. We cover BD19, BD12 (if address is in Kirklees), WF15, WF16. We provide emergency, short term food and deliver to clients' homes. We are entirely volunteer run.
Help the community, meet new people and be part of the team!
Currently Cleckheaton Foodbank is looking for a special volunteer to boost our dedicated and friendly client liaison team which deals with requests for our help from members of the local community and agencies via phone, text and email. You would receive training and support from other team members and would volunteer from home. For logistic reasons ideally you should live in Cleckheaton, Heckmondwike and surrounding area.
Are you good at talking and listening to people on the phone? Do you have basic computer skills? If so, and you have a few hours to spare up to once a week or fortnight, please get in touch for more information and to see if this is the role for you.
