TSL Kirklees Volunteering is the official Volunteer Centre for Kirklees
This means that we’re here to help you get started on your volunteering journey and support you through the process.
We also make sure that any groups or charities that advertise for volunteers on our website will look after their volunteers properly. Some of them will have a stamp of approval called the Kirklees Volunteering Quality Award (KVQA), which means that they’ve done even more to make sure that their volunteers are valued and have a good experience.

The National Children’s Air Ambulance is a dedicated transfer service. With specialist clinical teams on board, we ensure young patients receive the expert care they need, fast, when every second counts.
As a Community Event Volunteer, you’ll take the lead in organising and running fundraising stalls and stands at events across your local area. From setting up merchandise displays to accepting cash and contactless donations, you’ll be at the heart of our fundraising efforts.
In this role, you’ll:
- Book and attend local events on behalf of the charity.
- Set up and manage engaging stalls selling branded merchandise.
- Interact with the public, sharing the story of our lifesaving services.
- Run fundraising games and activities to raise both funds and awareness.
You’ll receive full training and ongoing support from your Community Fundraising Executive. This is a rewarding, sociable role ideal for outgoing individuals who enjoy being hands-on and making a real impact in their community.
