TSL Kirklees Volunteering is the official Volunteer Centre for Kirklees
This means that we’re here to help you get started on your volunteering journey and support you through the process.
We also make sure that any groups or charities that advertise for volunteers on our website will look after their volunteers properly. Some of them will have a stamp of approval called the Kirklees Volunteering Quality Award (KVQA), which means that they’ve done even more to make sure that their volunteers are valued and have a good experience.

We are a registered charity and the Volunteer Centre for Kirklees. We support third sector organisations across Kirklees and help match volunteers to charities and groups looking for help.
If you would like to volunteer but are not sure where to start – we are here to help. As the accredited volunteer centre for Kirklees, we are experts on the wonderful world of volunteering! We can offer a one to one appointment to find out more about you, and match you to a volunteer role that suits you and your lifestyle. We offer appointments in person at our office at Brian Jackson House in Huddersfield, or we can meet you at any Library in Kirklees. We can also offer telephone appointments and video calls. We would love to hear from you – there are so many charities and volunteer-run groups doing amazing work in our local communities who are in need of more volunteers.
