TSL Kirklees Volunteering is the official Volunteer Centre for Kirklees
This means that we’re here to help you get started on your volunteering journey and support you through the process.
We also make sure that any groups or charities that advertise for volunteers on our website will look after their volunteers properly. Some of them will have a stamp of approval called the Kirklees Volunteering Quality Award (KVQA), which means that they’ve done even more to make sure that their volunteers are valued and have a good experience.

We provide community places where people from diverse backgrounds can find love, connection and belonging, combatting isolation and bringing resilience. We design community activities where people participate, integrate and are upskilled, encouraging them to be the best version of themselves. Our ground roots and organically formed activities bring volunteer energy, group responsibility, and peer supporters making us stronger together. We reach out to those most excluded in society helping practically and providing a voice for the voiceless.
This role is based at the Jubilee Centre, Market Street, Paddock, HD1 4SH on Thursdays 9am – 12.15pm.
Melody Makers is a popular parent and toddler group (Melody Makers | The Branch)
You would be responsible for helping to set up the kitchen ready for refreshment time, variety of jobs including toasting, buttering, making drinks & serving, & helping with clearing up at the end.
