TSL Kirklees Volunteering is the official Volunteer Centre for Kirklees
This means that we’re here to help you get started on your volunteering journey and support you through the process.
We also make sure that any groups or charities that advertise for volunteers on our website will look after their volunteers properly. Some of them will have a stamp of approval called the Kirklees Volunteering Quality Award (KVQA), which means that they’ve done even more to make sure that their volunteers are valued and have a good experience.

Waythrough is a national mental health charity that assists people with mental health issues to find employment, educational or training opportunities. The volunteering opportunities with us are largely based around helping to run workshops and groups for our clients and helping to create new workshops. We offer full training and induction for all volunteers, regular meetings to ensure that they are enjoying the volunteering experience and travel expenses are paid.
We are a mental health charity that supports people with mental health difficulties to get back into work, education, volunteering or training. We also run a wide range of workshops that are open to anyone in Kirklees to help maintain or improve peoples wellbeing and mental health. In these workshops we require Volunteer Mentors to help deliver the workshops, support the people attending and helping to create new workshops. We will provide full training and support to ensure that you benefit from and enjoy the role. please get in touch if you would like to find out more.
