Welcome Mentors win multiple awards
A huge congratulations to our Welcome Mentors who were chosen for 4 awards at the Kirklees Adult Learner Awards last week.
The volunteers give up their time each and every day to support sanctuary seekers in Kirklees.
The categories won were:
Community Volunteer – Meg Black (Welcome Mentor)
Most significant contribution to the community – Welcome Mentors project
Community Helping Hero – Elspeth Moore – (Welcome Mentor)
Most significant contribution to the community – The Hashas family (Basema, Ghani and Rama – all welcome mentors)
