Kirklees’ Holiday Activities and Food Programme for Easter 2022: Expressions of Interest
From Monday 14 February 2022, Expressions of Interest are invited from community providers to deliver activities with families who are eligible for Benefits Related Free School Meals during the Easter school holidays (11 April 2022 to 22 April 2022). The closing date for applications is 5pm on Wednesday 2 March, with providers notified of the outcome from 11 March 2022. There are two types of provision that can be applied for –
- Activities involving a healthy meal. This is a minimum four hour session and will include a healthy meal for the child/young person attending https://forms.office.com/r/tWgdUd0Zrs
- Activities only. We have a small fund available for providers who are unable to provide a meal as part of the session https://forms.office.com/r/7Rk37cSsaS
From Easter 2022 Kirklees Youth Alliance will be leading on creative opportunities to encourage young people aged over 13 years to engage with the programme. Kirklees Youth Alliance are also continuing to co-ordinate the training offer together with volunteers to support the programme. We will be holding a series of online meetings on Thursday evenings in the run up to the school holidays to answer any questions, and to provide support.
April (Easter) 2022 Holiday Activities and Food Online drop in session – Thursday 17 February 2022 7pm
We will be holding a weekly online drop in session on Thursday evenings from 7pm onwards for providers interested in supporting the offer to ask any questions in relation to an application to deliver activities during the Easter school holidays as part of the The Holiday Activities and Food Programme.
