Covid Vaccination Booster Programme for the health and social care workforce
The Covid Vaccination Booster Programme is now starting to be rolled out in Kirklees.
The NHS is contacting people who are
· over 50 or aged 16 and over with a health condition that puts you at high risk from COVID-19, and
· who had their second dose at least 6 months (180 days) ago.
GP Practices are contacting care homes directly to arrange visits to vaccinate residents and staff.
Frontline health and care workers are now able to book an appointment using the link below at any of the 28 sites across Kirklees that will be part of the Booster Programme, and other sites in neighbouring districts.
This link is only for the health and social care workforce including staff and volunteers working in community organisations.
Booster jabs are available for staff who have
· had their second dose more than 6 months (180 days) ago AND
· an ID badge or similar than shows they work for a social care provider.
NB You must wait 4 weeks (28 days) before booking if you’ve had a positive COVID-19 test, starting from the date you had the test.
Anyone attending who is not eligible will not be vaccinated.
If anyone has not yet had a 1st dose or they are due a 2nd dose they can use the links below to book and appointment or find a walk-in centre.
