Give Local This Winter 2021
Help local charities & community groups to support our communities this Winter
This year, many charities and groups across Kirklees have returned to in-person activities and are now restarting their Winter appeals.
Local groups are accepting donations of food, clothes, toiletries and money for children and adults, to help those who may be struggling over the long winter period.
Others are looking for volunteers to ensure that no-one has to be lonely.
If you are creative, there are lots of opportunities to take part in arts & crafts projects to help spread some cheer during the dark months.
So – take a look at the list below, choose a group that’s local to you or a cause that’s close to your heart, and
- OR TAKE PART
Can you help Uniform Exchange collect 1,000 children’s coats for their winter project? They believe every child should have a warm coat for winter… if you donate children’s out-grown coats, they will find a child in Kirklees who can reuse it.
You can donate children’s warm winter coats, hats, and gloves at a wide range of donation points across Kirklees: Uniform Exchange – Donation Points (uniform-exchange.org) or you can contact this email for more information email@example.com
