Kirklees Safeguarding Adults Board - Success Through Adversity 30th September
30th September 2021, 10am – 12.30pm
Celebrating YOUR resilience, YOUR professionalism, YOUR commitment through the unique voices of OUR communities
After an extraordinary year when just about everything changed, we will reflect on the lessons learned in continuing care through the most difficult and challenging situations imaginable. Combining the stories of carers, advocates, practitioners, volunteers and the unique voices of service users we will look forward with confidence to the future. A future that you can help to build based on your incredible efforts during the pandemic. What did you do? How did you do it? What did you learn? And how will you help shape the future? Be at the centre of that conversation.
Join us on 30th September 2021 to Remember, Reflect and Refresh.
The Covid -19 Pandemic has affected everyone. But non more so than those of us involved in the care sector. Professional and family carers, advocates, practitioners, volunteers and council staff have had to adapt and react, providing care seamlessly in the most challenging and often dangerous circumstances.
You adapted, you changed, you used technology to try to bring the people you care for together. You made possible things that seemed impossible through your skill, knowledge and ingenuity
There were difficult choices and often heart breaking decisions – many of which were out of your control – but through all this, you have placed the dignity of residents, families and colleagues at the forefront of everything you have done. You should be justly proud.
So share your stories to represent the voice of service users/patients/clients/staff and help shape what the future will look like coming out of Lockdown.
WE PARTICULARLY ENCOURAGE FAMILY CARERS, PRACTITIONERS, ADVOCATES, VOLUNTEERS, RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME MANAGERS/ STAFF, AND DOMICILIARY CARE STAFF TO JOIN US AT THIS EVENT.
