KYA launched as an independent charity

After two years as a project of TSL, Kirklees Youth Alliance (KYA) is now a charity in its own right. This is great news for local youth organisations who KYA is there to support as well as children and young people who will benefit from more positive activities in communities across Kirklees.

There are currently over 120 youth organisations in the KYA network. If you’d like to join or receive further info email Susan at kya@tslkirklees.org.uk . KYA will soon be launching its own website but for now you can still see our page at https://tslkirklees.org.uk/opening-doors/kirklees-youth-alliance/.

If you would like to donate to KYA’s first fundraising campaign please visit the link below. All donations received in January will be doubled (up to £10k) thanks to One Community Foundation’s Match It fund. The donations are to fund a professional youth worker who will start to develop new term-time youth provision as soon as the covid restrictions are relaxed.
