Trauma Informed Practice Network Event
For all frontline staff and volunteers who may have, come into contact with service users, where trauma may have been experienced
2nd December 2021 9:30am – 12:30pm
This Kirklees Safeguarding Adults Board network event will start to support you in understanding the long-term impact of trauma which can transition from child to adult, and inform you, your colleagues & wider networks about lasting benefits of trauma informed practice. Bringing together expert speakers, trained trauma practitioners, service users and voluntary services, this network event aims to inform, educate and reflect on the approaches to Trauma Informed Practice recognising the urgency of organisations, agencies and colleague’s response across Kirklees in a post Covid-19 world.
The event will also consider how organisations’ staff can be affected by trauma – either personally or through working with complex and harrowing cases – and that a trauma informed approach can also help to support each other.
