YCC’s Green Market Pop-Up Event
We are extremely proud of the recent progress with our Sustainability Forum which we would like to share with the local community. We would also like to give small or independent sustainable sellers the opportunity their products and/or produce with the community and raise their profile for the wonderful work they are doing to become more sustainable.
Please see the below premise for this exciting event and find out how you can get involved:
- The event will focus on reusing and recycling (to include upcycling) and local green-growing.
- There will be £10 donation for all stall holders, with all proceeds supporting YCC services and our sustainability forum and pledges.
- Stall holders may sell their produce and/or products or hold an ‘information’ if you wish to highlight or share knowledge in being more sustainable.
- Date confirmed for the end of July, hopefully green-fingered-folk may have produce to sell by this date. Seed or produce swapping is also welcome at the event.
- Ideas for stall holders:
- Home-grown veggies / fruits / plants / home-grown produce
- Vegan or Veggie bakes / goods
- Upcycled homeware / furniture / clothing
- Recycled materials / products
- Sustainable arts / crafts / designs
