Help those fleeing Afghanistan
How You Can Support Local Charities and Community Groups to Support People Fleeing Afghanistan
We are supporting Kirklees in welcoming those fleeing Afghanistan to provide safety and support to those at risk or in danger.
Here are some suggestions of how you can help. Kirklees Council have also put together a list of ways to help here.
We have had a lot of enquiries about becoming a Welcome Mentor from those wanting to specifically help with Afghanistan resettlement. Our Welcome Mentor programme helps asylum seekers and refugees from lots of different countries and unfortunately, we cannot guarantee who you will be matched with. You can find out more about our Welcome Mentor Programme here.
